Yacht charter catering and dietary needs in Antalya
Food requirements belong in the booking brief before payment, with ingredients, preparation limits and every accepted change confirmed for the named vessel.
- The short answerTreat every dietary label as a question, not a guarantee, and book only when the named vessel’s actual meal arrangements are written clearly.
Begin by separating preference from risk. List every guest who has an allergy, intolerance, religious requirement, ethical diet or simple dislike, and describe the ingredient or handling issue in plain language. Do not send only a label such as “special menu”, because two people using the same label may need very different answers. Dietary information should reach the operator before reservation, together with the date, adult and child count, hotel area and the name of one organiser who can answer follow-up questions.
The two published MY FREEDOM programmes operate only from Kundu, in the 09:30–15:00 and 15:00–20:30 time slots, for one private group of 1–12 guests including children. Their verified food scope is a meal cooked aboard, drinking water, soft drinks, tea and Turkish coffee. Reporting a dietary need does not automatically replace a dish, change the preparation area or create a separate menu. The operator must first check what can be done for the actual date and record every accepted adjustment in the written confirmation.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's public guidance identifies fourteen regulated allergen groups for consumer information in mass catering settings. Use that official list as a prompt to ask precise questions about ingredients rather than as proof that a particular yacht, galley or plate suits one guest. The source does not inspect this booking, certify the meal or assess an individual's medical risk. A guest with a serious allergy should decide what evidence and personal medical advice they need before accepting the proposed arrangement.
For an allergy enquiry, ask about the complete dish, sauces, marinades, bread, garnishes and packaged ingredients, then ask how food is stored, prepared and served. Shared utensils, worktops, grills, oil or storage can matter even when the main recipe does not contain the ingredient. No page should promise an allergen-free galley or zero cross-contact. If the operator cannot give the level of detail the guest requires, that uncertainty should remain visible rather than being softened into a reassuring but unsupported answer.
Vegetarian, vegan, halal and kosher requests also need concrete definitions. State which ingredients, preparation methods or certifications matter to the group. A dish without meat is not automatically vegan; avoiding pork does not by itself establish halal preparation; and a general dietary promise is not a kosher certificate. Ask for the actual proposed meal and any supplier information that can genuinely be provided. Unless a certification or process is specifically documented for the named vessel and date, describe the response only as an ingredient or preparation arrangement.
MY FREEDOM does not supply alcohol, but guests may bring their own without a corkage charge. That confirmed rule does not automatically cover every other item a guest may want to bring. A cake, sealed personal meal, baby food, cooler, serving dish, candles, decorations, refrigeration or crew service remains a request until it is accepted in writing. Explain quantities and packaging in advance. Do not assume there is suitable storage, heating, separate equipment or time for a special presentation because a photograph shows a dining table.
A request outside the fixed programme follows a separate path. Another route or duration, specialist equipment, a western-coast departure, an overnight stay or more than twelve guests requires a selected partner vessel identified by name and a separate written quotation. Never copy MY FREEDOM's meal, drink or bring-your-own arrangement into that offer. The partner proposal must state its own catering, drinks, guest-supplied food rules, facilities, price and limitations. Round-trip hotel transfer within Kundu is included only for the published MY FREEDOM programmes; travel outside Kundu is quoted separately.
Before payment, obtain one confirmation naming the vessel, departure and boarding point, programme, proposed route, total price, included services, cancellation terms and procedure for weather-related changes. Add the agreed meal, known ingredients or response to the allergen questions, every dietary adjustment and each guest-supplied item the vessel has accepted. If an answer remains unknown, keep it marked as unknown. Good catering planning does not promise that every request can be met; it gives each guest enough accurate, vessel-specific information to decide before the booking becomes binding.

Ways to charter
Common questions
How are the vessel and programme confirmed?
Before payment, the written quote names the vessel, departure marina, boarding and return times, and proposed route.
What is included in the price?
Nothing is assumed for a bespoke request or partner vessel. The written quote lists meals, drinks, fuel, harbour costs, transfers and any extra charges.
Can the route change?
Yes. The captain confirms a safe plan for the actual sea, weather and harbour instructions, and may change the route or stops when needed.
How is guest capacity confirmed?
Capacity is confirmed for the selected vessel in the written quote; larger groups may require a different vessel.
