Best time for an Antalya boat trip: month by month

May usually offers milder air than midsummer. MGM lists an average temperature of 20.7°C, an average daily maximum of 25.7°C, about 9.7 hours of sunshine and roughly five rainy days for Antalya. That profile can suit sightseeing and time on deck. Swimming comfort is personal, however, and the sea surface should be checked separately near the date.

June brings more summer-like conditions. MGM records an average temperature of 25.4°C, an average maximum of 30.8°C, about 11.1 sunshine hours and fewer than three rainy days on average. July and August are hotter still: average daily maxima exceed 34°C in the official statistics. Shade, water, sun protection and heat tolerance therefore matter more than a generic claim that peak summer is automatically best.

September remains warm in the climate record, with a 25.3°C average temperature, a 31.2°C average maximum and about 9.7 sunshine hours. October is milder, with a 20.6°C average and a 26.6°C average maximum, while average rainy days rise again. These monthly normals help compare comfort, but they cannot tell you whether wind or waves will suit a particular departure.

Use a three-step decision. First choose the temperature range your party can enjoy. Then compare daylight and the chance of rain. Finally, close to departure, read MGM’s Antalya marina forecast for wind direction, wind speed and wave height. A clear city forecast alone is not enough for a boat decision, because conditions on open water can differ from those ashore.
