About Kas
Modern Kaş occupies the site of Antiphellos, an important Lycian port whose theatre, tombs and inscribed monument remain within the town. Getting there
Kaş may be requested as a boarding town, a shore visit or the starting point for a wider western-coast route. Those are different services. The water
The official record supports Kaş as the site of an important Lycian port, but it does not justify a universal promise about visibility, wildlife or a particular swim stop. The water portion is therefore built around the chosen partner vessel and the conditions it can safely operate in. Any coastal passage, bay stop, snorkelling time or shore access must be named in the written itinerary rather than inferred from destination photography.
Through the season
Kaş requests are evaluated for the guest’s actual date, not sold with fixed claims about a best season, sea temperature or afternoon wind. Availability can vary between partner vessels, and the workable route can change with operational conditions. The written proposal records the schedule and alternatives that are realistic for that request. Final-day decisions remain with the licensed operator and captain responsible for the selected vessel.

Kaş stands on ancient Antiphellos, described by the Antalya cultural authority as an important Lycian harbour settlement. Its best-preserved remains include a theatre without a stage building and several tombs. The inscribed Lycian monument on Uzun Çarşı dates to the fourth century BCE and is popularly called the King’s Tomb, although its inscription has not been deciphered and its owner is not established.
Worth knowing
Decide whether your priority is time aboard, a town walk or access to Antiphellos monuments, then ask for that balance in the quote. A harbour pickup does not automatically include a guided land visit, museum or site entry, meals, transfers or every bay shown online. Confirm the exact boarding instruction and partner-vessel name in writing, and allow practical footwear if the town and archaeological remains are included.
