Demre links a modern coastal district with the inland remains of Myra and the ancient harbour landscape of Andriake at Çayağzı; these related places are not interchangeable boat stops. MY FREEDOM’s fixed programmes depart only from Kundu, and Demre is not one of those routes. A Demre request is planned with a selected partner vessel. Before booking or payment, a separate written offer must name the vessel, actual departure and boarding point, schedule, coastal route, price, inclusions and any land transport. Weather, harbour directions, conservation requirements and the captain’s judgement still decide which proposed elements are practical.
The water
The waters associated with Demre include working coastal approaches and open areas, so swimming conditions cannot be generalised from the destination name.
