About Kaleici
Kaleiçi is the historic core of Antalya. Official cultural information describes its walls, narrow streets, traditional houses, Hadrian Gate and old harbour, which is now used as a yacht harbour. MY FREEDOM’s fixed day and sunset programmes depart only from Kundu, not Kaleiçi. Any Kaleiçi request is arranged separately with a selected partner vessel; the vessel, exact berth, boarding access, route, schedule, price and inclusions must be confirmed before payment in its own written offer.
Getting there
Kaleiçi is not a departure point for MY FREEDOM: its fixed day and sunset programmes operate only from Kundu. A Kaleiçi request can proceed only as a separate arrangement with a selected partner vessel. The operator must confirm that vessel, the exact harbour or berth, boarding access and boarding arrangements for the requested date. A separate written offer must also state the route, schedule, price and inclusions. Do not travel to the old harbour assuming that a photographed yacht or public excursion boat is your charter.
The water
The old harbour is an active urban harbour and should be treated as a boarding or viewing environment only when the selected operator confirms it. Swimming, snorkelling and water quality are not promised there. Any proposed swim stop belongs elsewhere in the operating plan and remains subject to sea conditions, traffic and the captain’s decision. Ask the quotation to identify the intended activity, without relying on unverified depth, visibility, wildlife or travel-time claims.
Through the season
Kaleiçi is a living district throughout the year, while vessel schedules, berth availability, weather and daylight vary by date. We do not publish a quiet month, guaranteed sea temperature or fixed crowd pattern. If the harbour is important to your plan, ask the operator when and where boarding will occur and how a berth change is communicated. Check municipal and cultural-site information separately for any land visit, event or access issue.
What you are looking at
Official Antalya cultural information states that Attaleia was founded by King Attalos II of Pergamon and later entered Roman rule. It describes Kaleiçi as the area of the ancient city within walls shaped by Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. The same source identifies Hadrian Gate, Yivli Minare and other historic buildings, and notes that the ancient harbour is used today as a yacht harbour. These facts do not guarantee private-charter availability.
