Alanya marina is the biggest on this coast, purpose built east of the castle rock with wide pontoons, fuel on site and a large secure car park. Boarding is straightforward and there is real shade on the quay while you wait, which matters here because Alanya runs hot.
The run west takes you under the whole castle peninsula: red stone walls climbing the rock, the thirteenth century shipyard still open to the water at the base, and the Damlatas caves at the foot. The swimming below the walls is deep and clean, and the first stop is usually there rather than further out.
Choose Alanya if you are staying anywhere from Mahmutlar to Manavgat. Note that from here the great Lycian bays are a long run west, so a day charter stays local and a longer charter is what opens the coast up.

Alanya is built around a peninsula with red stone walls running the whole way up it and a thirteenth century shipyard cut into the base, still open to the water. There are caves at the foot of the rock, the Damlatas among them, and the swimming below the walls is deep and clear. From the sea the castle reads as one continuous line of masonry.

How long does it take to reach Alanya?
About 7 h of sailing from the departure marina, which is why boarding is early and the return is timed for the last of the light.
Is lunch included on a Departure marinas?
A full Mediterranean lunch is prepared aboard by the chef, with soft drinks, water, tea and Turkish coffee included. Wine and spirits are charged separately or you are welcome to bring your own.
Can we swim at every stop?
At almost all of them. The exception is directly over protected ruins, where swimming is restricted by law, so the swim stop moves to the bay alongside.
What happens if the weather changes?
The captain reroutes to the sheltered side of the coast, which on this coastline almost always works. If a day genuinely cannot sail, you are refunded in full.
How many guests can come?
From two up to twelve, depending on the yacht. Larger parties are handled by taking two boats out together on the same route.
